We are currently seeking authors who write on sound art, experimental music, electroacoustic technologies, sound materials, sound and identity and experimental composition and notation, among other issues! Subjects may range from the local music and sound art scene in St. Catharines to performances, concerts and music history. Writing submissions that extend sonic theory and speculation on the practice as a catalyst for social and political change are welcome.
Please send drafts to S.A.I.L. at (soundartinnovationlab@gmail.com) for consideration and sign up for our mailing list. As the collective grows, we plan to compensate for any work submitted. In the short-term we provide in-kind support for any sound production work you have in mind if you are a local writer or NAC member.
